In February, Chez Hay announced that we were chosen as one of the preferred caterers for both the Nebraska Champions Club and Wick Alumni Center on UNL’s campus.  Friday at the Champions Club, we had the opportunity to cater a large wedding reception. This event, celebrated by almost 400 people, was decorated in black and white.  Appetizers served included: toasted cheese ravioli, mini beef wellingtons, black bean cakes, saffron shrimp, salsa, and baked brie. The party lasted well into the evening and a great time was had by all guests!

This weekend Chez Hay had the fortune to host Rembolt Ludtke’s football tailgate for the Nebraska vs. Washington game.  Enjoying the excitement before the winning game were over 400 guests.  Foods created to feed the large crowd included: pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ meatballs, queso dip, and cookies.  Take a look at a few of the pictures from the event below!

Welcome to the 2011 Husker Football Season!  On Saturday, Chez Hay got the opportunity to cater the University of Nebraska’s Chancellors’ Tailgate.  This event, for 300 donors and alumni, was held at the Nebraska Union.  Designed as a picnic, the tailgate featured two double-sided buffets.  Some food greedily consumed included: beer and turkey bratwursts, cheeseburger sliders, pulled pork sliders, baked beans, potato salad, fresh fruit salad in watermelon bowls, and assorted desserts.
