Happy Halloween Friends!  On Tuesday, October 25, the Chez Hay chefs got to have some fun in the kitchen creating Halloween inspired appetizers and desserts. Among the items served that evening at the Children’s Museum were: Goblin’s Goo (Roasted Red Pepper & Cheddar Dip), Toasted Cheese Ravioli and Marinara Dipping Sauce inside a spider bread bowl, Mummy Finger Breadsticks, Eyeballs (Chicken Salad in Phyllo Cups), Peanut Butter and Jelly Turnovers, and many cupcakes. The event was a hit for adults and children alike. Take a look at a few of the pictures below.

We have been out and about this past week!  On Tuesday, October 18, Chez Hay had a booth at UNL’s Vendor Showcase.  This trade show invited faculty and staff at the University of Nebraska to personally meet with vendors the university uses.  Chez Hay provided refreshments, pastries in the morning, and light appetizers in the afternoon for guests.

On Sunday, October 23, Chez Hay spent the afternoon speaking with brides and their families at Embassy Suite’s Bridal Affair. This event featured numerous photographers, entertainment services, apparel companies, and many more. With two fashion shows, brides were able to get many ideas regarding their dress and those for the wedding party. Chez Hay had the opportunity to meet with current clients, potential clients, and others in the industry. While it was a busy week for us at Chez Hay, it was great to meet with many new people and to put a face to many names.
