The leaves are falling, football season has come to an end, and holiday shopping has kicked into high gear. Here at Chez Hay we are always looking for new things to do each season. The fall was full of football tailgates and wedding celebrations, and now we are looking forward to what the winter season brings. Celebrations of the Holiday season are currently kicking off all over the city. Many people and businesses have chosen Chez Hay to be the location of this year’s holiday party. With the vast amount of options available from food, to decorating and set up, everyone is bound to have the holiday celebration they have envisioned this season.

With the holiday approaching fast, our chefs have created the new holiday menu that will bring a smile to everyone’s face. The menu choices include everything from our unique Cranberry Orange Chevre Cheese Ball and Mini Beef Wellingtons to our wonderful dessert display of Bourbon Brownie Pops, Pecan Pie Tartlets, Peppermint Cake Squares & Mini Holiday Cupcakes. On November 17^th, Chez Hay had the opportunity to participate in the Downtown Lincoln Association’s first ever Shop the Blocks. Chez was paired up with Embellish at 13^th and P. Between the Cranberry Orange Chevre Cheese Ball and Sangria, shoppers had a chance to eat and drink well while doing some of their holiday shopping! Over 450 people braved the chilly night to support 17 local businesses. We want to thank Ashlie and Jaime at Embellish once again for the use of their store and their great hospitality!

Nebraska seems to be refusing to accept winter weather so far this November and around Chez Hay, we are very happy about that! For those not so happy and wanting a kick start on their holiday shopping, Wednesday evening, the 9^th, Chez Hay was the venue of choice for this years’ Craftacular Shopping Event!  Guests to Craftacular had a chance to begin their holiday shopping while getting in the spirit with a Handmade Holiday cocktail, over 30 vendors, and Santa walking around.  Over 500 people visited the event from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. that evening.  Check out a few photos from the event below!

This Thursday, November 17^th, Chez Hay will be teaming up with Embellish for the Downtown Lincoln Association’s Shop the Blocks! Stop by to see us, try some food and drink, and get some shopping done from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Embellish!
